Summary

VoidCraft is a free online multiplayer game operated by Hanamori Labs, LLC. By installing the app or visiting the website, you agree to these terms. We can suspend accounts that break the rules, the game is provided "as is", and you keep the rights to your own user content.

1. Who we are

VoidCraft ("the game", "the service") is operated by Hanamori Labs, LLC ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].

2. Account

• You need a Google account to sign in. Your VoidCraft account is tied to that Google account; if you lose access to the Google account, you lose access to your VoidCraft empire.
• You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. Don't share your credentials.
• You may only operate one account per person. Multi-accounting (running several accounts to gain a competitive advantage) violates these terms and may lead to suspension of all linked accounts.
• You must be at least 13 years old (United States) or 16 years old (European Union) to play.

3. Acceptable use

While playing VoidCraft you must not:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use third-party software to modify game behaviour (bots, automation, scripts, modified clients)
• Harass, threaten, dox, or impersonate other players
• Use the display-name, in-game chat, alliance descriptions, or any other player-visible text to post hate speech, sexually explicit content, content directed at minors, or material that violates any law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other players' accounts or to the game backend
• Interfere with the operation of the service (denial-of-service, scraping at rates above what the API permits, spam)
• Sell, trade, or transfer your account or in-game assets to another person for real-world money
• Use the game in any way that violates the law where you live or where our servers are located (United States)

4. Moderation and account actions

We may, at our reasonable discretion:

• Remove user content that violates Section 3 (offensive display-names, abusive messages, etc.)
• Temporarily suspend an account while we investigate a report
• Permanently ban an account for repeated or severe violations
• Take action without prior notice where the violation is ongoing or causes harm to other players

If your account is suspended or banned, you can appeal by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 14 days. Bans are not reversible except via this process.

5. Your content

You keep the copyright to any content you create inside VoidCraft (display-name, alliance descriptions, messages, screenshots you produce using the in-game camera, etc.). By submitting content into the game you grant Hanamori Labs, LLC a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, transmit, and back up that content for the purpose of operating the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account (whichever comes first), except where we need to keep it temporarily for moderation, abuse prevention, or legal records.

6. Our content

Everything VoidCraft itself supplies - art, models, animations, sounds, music, text, code, gameplay mechanics, names, trademarks, and the look-and-feel of the game and website - belongs to Hanamori Labs, LLC. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or use it outside the game without our written permission. We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the game for personal, non-commercial play through the official client(s).

7. Purchases (future)

VoidCraft is currently free. If we add cosmetic purchases in the future:

• All transactions will be handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We will not process payments directly.
• Cosmetics are non-refundable except where local law requires otherwise or where Apple/Google's refund policies apply.
• We will never sell items that affect game balance, give competitive advantages, or use mechanics described as "pay-to-win" or "gacha".
• Virtual currency (if introduced) is non-redeemable for real money and has no monetary value outside the game.

These terms will be updated to cover purchases in detail when (and if) we enable them.

8. Game changes, downtime, end of service

• Game changes. We balance the game over time, add features, remove features, retire ships, alter formulas, and reset universes per a published cadence (see in-game notices for the current universe schedule). Some changes may reduce the value of accumulated progress. By playing, you accept that the game is a service, not a fixed product, and that updates are part of normal operation.
• Downtime. We aim for high availability but the service is provided on an "as available" basis. Maintenance and unplanned outages happen.
• End of service. If we decide to shut down VoidCraft permanently, we will give players reasonable notice (no fewer than 30 days for free accounts; longer if purchases have been introduced). On shutdown your account and gameplay data will be deleted.

9. No warranty

VoidCraft is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against all attacks, or suitable for any particular purpose. Where the law allows us to exclude warranties, we do.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hanamori Labs, LLC is not liable for: lost game progress, lost virtual items, indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of data. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the last twelve months (currently zero) or (b) USD $25. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those places, only the limitations the law allows apply.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Hanamori Labs, LLC against claims brought by other players or third parties that arise out of your violation of these terms, your unlawful conduct, or your user content. This indemnity does not apply to the extent the claim arises from our own negligence or misconduct.

12. Termination

You can stop using VoidCraft at any time. To delete your account, follow the process in our Privacy Policy (Section 9). We can terminate or suspend your access if you breach these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the game changes materially. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top and (for material changes) notify you in the app and on the website. If you keep playing after the change, you accept the new terms. If you don't accept them, stop playing and request account deletion.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

15. Severability

If any part of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect.
